Tapan Kumar Dash completed his BFA from B.K. College of Art & Crafts, Bhubaneshwar, in 1995. He tries to set up a dialogue between the images and their private associations in his paintings. He tries to raise his paintings above an exercise in mere technical and skilful competency.
